Our planned 3D and VR visits will help visitors explore documented war-affected places remotely. The aim is to preserve context and make difficult-to-access history available to museums and classrooms.
Virtual visits and catalogue entries are in development. This website does not yet offer a live VR tour or a searchable artifact collection.
HOW WE APPROACH THE WORK
Preservation begins with responsibility.
We aim to record provenance, dates, context and permissions for each published item. Sensitive locations and personal information require particular care. Public interpretation will focus on history and human experience.
Potential contributors should contact the team first with a description and photographs. Please do not send hazardous objects or publish sensitive personal or location information.
